Cohively runs an MCP server, so an AI assistant can read and update your workspace as part of an ordinary conversation — check what is on the board, open a ticket, comment on one, or summarise the hours logged last month. Ask in words instead of clicking through screens, and everything stays scoped to what you are already allowed to see.

How to connect

A few minutes, once. Then it looks after itself.

Pick how you connect

Claude and ChatGPT connect over OAuth: add Cohively as a connector and approve it in the browser. A client you configure by hand — Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor — uses a token instead.

Authorise or generate a token

For a connector, sign in and approve the request. For a token, open Profile → Security → API tokens and generate one, choosing whether it may read, write, or reveal vault secrets.

Choose your workspace and start asking

A connector asks the assistant to switch to the workspace you name; a configured client can pin one with a header. From there, ask in plain language.

Works with the assistant you already use

Any client that speaks the Model Context Protocol can connect — Claude, ChatGPT, your editor — over standard OAuth or a bearer token.
It can do real work

Not just reading. An assistant can create and update tickets, comment on them, and log time you have already worked.
Your permissions still apply

Every call acts as you, in one workspace at a time, and never reaches across workspaces. An assistant sees exactly what you would see.
Secrets stay locked down

Password vault tools exist only on the token endpoint, only when a token is explicitly granted the secrets ability, and every reveal is written to the audit log.

The details

Connector endpoint: https://cohively.com/mcp/connect — OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, for Claude, ChatGPT and other directory connectors. Pick the workspace with the switch_company tool.
Token endpoint: https://cohively.com/mcp — send a bearer token, and optionally an X-Company header to pin the workspace. This is the only endpoint that can reach the password vault.
What an assistant can do: Read the board and one ticket at a time, create and update tickets, read and add comments, list projects, members and clients, summarise tracked time, and log a finished time entry.
